Two Recommended Tricep Exercises That You Must Try Out

If you are serious about body building, you would obviously want to try out tricep exercises. There are several exercises that can help you achieve strong triceps muscles. However, you need to choose the best one for yourself. The best way of doing so is trying out different exercises and analyzing their effectiveness.

Dumbbell kickbacks

Dumbbell kickbacks are perhaps the first exercise you must try if you wish to build your triceps muscles. For performing this exercise, you need to choose a desired dumbbell weight and find a flat bench. You need to decide on the triceps muscle you wish to exercise first, as you can work out only muscle at a time.

If you select the right triceps first, you need to place your left knee on the bench and place the right foot flat on the ground, meanwhile completely extending your leg. Then, you need to lean forward, grab the dumbbell and lift up until your elbow is at a 90-degree angle. Next, you need to extend your arm and flex your triceps. This is one of the most effective tricep exercises. You can repeat this exercise as many times as you want but you should remember not to over exercise.

Lying Barbell Extension

For this exercise, you need to select a barbell and find a flat bench. Lie down on the bench flat on your back. Next, you need to grip and then raise the barbell directly over your face, completely extending your arms. Now, you need to bring the bar down slowly, bending your elbow until a 90-degree angle is reached. After that, you need to extend your arms completely again. Repeat the exercise as many times as necessary.
